「酒池肉林」的慶生會......(2004.11.13)

取作「酒池肉林」實在是很有原因的……話說在慶生會之前,就有一些人在討論週六聚會的事情,按照往例,酒的種類不會太少,而且這次的時間又選在晚餐時間,慶生會的主角自願買了好吃的廣味燒腊招待大家,肉的數量也是不少的…...就在討論時,出現了「酒肉朋友」、「酒肉專區」,最後有了「酒池肉林」……說實在的,這名字實在是不知道該怎麼說比較好……其實,我原來只知道有個朋友剛從美國回來,帶了瓶酒請大伙喝,後來知道有壽星之後,就立刻變了慶生會了,哈哈~

在赴約之前,我一直在家裡整理東西,弄弄新聞台的東西、品酒心得之類的,然後還到Jason’s買了聚會要請大伙吃的cheese和火腿,順便也帶了一瓶酒過去。大伙是約在TA天母店,等我到了之後,發覺我原來算是晚到的,壽星和遠從台南來的窮學生都到了,大伙就已經開始聊了起來……聚會的成員一一前來,「酒池肉林」的慶生會也開始,大伙肚子都餓了,壽星帶來的叉燒、油雞、烤鴨和烤鵝銷路真好,還有白飯、燙青菜和滷味小菜,很中式的晚餐,我帶去的火腿和cheese瞬間變得格格不入,滯銷……

中式餐點料理完後,大伙又是啖火腿吃cheese搭紅酒,這些東西也就順利的銷掉了……後來還有壽星的小蛋糕,慶生會就在吃吃喝喝中完美的結束了。

酒嘛,因為大伙前來的先後不一,酒款不一,事先沒有安排好的情況下,我們先喝紅酒再喝白酒,還好白酒還夠耐夠厚,安排還算得宜。「品酒記錄官」也不能閒著,還是記下酒單和簡單的品飲筆記,不過說實在的,實在很失職……

1. Weingut des Grafen Neipperg Württemberg Redwine Trocken 1999(苦主小戶我提供)

酒色呈寶石紅色,略偏紫,顏色較深,strong。靜置有紅莓、覆盆子、溼地、溼紙板、木材味,有些複雜。入口後口感略偏甜,果味豐沛,單寧雖充足但被包裹住而顯得柔細,略有酸度,中度餘韻。這是很特別的德國紅酒,而且還大有來頭。

2.Domaine Armand Rousseau Clos de la Roche 1998(苦主低所得者提供)

酒色呈美麗的寶石紅色,strong。靜置即有黑莓、溼地、木材、菌菇味,香氣複雜且濃郁,有甜美的感覺。入口後口感較甜美,單寧柔順但充足,果味豐沛,屬享樂風格,不過酸度略有不足。附帶一提的是,以前的低所得者,這次一出手就是「阿媽胡說」的Grand cru,實在是大手筆。

3.Ceretto Barolo Bricco Rocche Prapo 1996(苦主壽星老師提供)

酒色呈深紅色,邊緣呈蕃茄紅色,strong。靜置時有紅莓、木材、溼草蓆或大地氣息,不過一開始香氣略較封閉。入口後有酒精味,中度到重度口感,單寧頗咬口,看來是還很年輕、需要時間醇化的酒。一開始有封閉感,略有果味,有酸度,帶有黑醋栗、皮革味,中度餘韻。酒醒開之後香氣較好,不過單寧的澀度仍重。另外,今天又提到壽星老師提到高記和鼎泰豐的事情,可能鼎泰豐在賣油的時候…… :-X

4.Château La Lagune 1999(可愛的C小姐提供)

頗深的紫紅色,very young。靜置時即可明顯聞到黑醋栗、菌菇、溼紙板味和大地氣息,香氣有種堅硬的感覺,搖晃後香氣差不多。入口後口感較為堅硬,單寧充足,但因口感的關係而覺得略較順口,少酸度,中度餘韻。

5.Flowers Sonoma Coast Chadonnay 2002(遊美歸國的Z小姐提供)

酒色呈淡金黃色,很淺,very young。靜置時帶有蘋果、哈密瓜、酵母、花香、礦石味,有清新和一些熱帶水果的香氣。入口後口感卻較濃厚,帶有哈密瓜、奶油玉米(我知道要拆開,不過還是這個最貼切)、花香味明顯,有酸度,回溫後略有蜂蜜味,中度餘韻。這支酒台灣買不到,Z小姐很辛苦地從美國背回來請大家,真好~

6.Billecart-Salmon Brut Rose NV(可愛的C小姐提供)

頗漂亮的玫瑰金色。烤吐司、黑莓、酵母、清涼水果味,略有白花香氣。氣泡細密持久,在場的還有人認為氣泡較Krug細密,不過我真的無法比較,因為我只喝過一次。入口後口感濃厚,有酸度,且帶有可回甘的餘韻,餘韻頗長。另外,C小姐今天大方地提供兩支酒,鼓掌鼓掌~

7. Joh. Jos. Prum Riesling Auslese Gold Cap Mosel-Saar-Ruwer Wehlener Sonnenuhr 1995(苦主大樹提供)

酒色呈淺黃色,偏黃,有熟成的顏色。靜置時有蜂蜜、白花、柚皮味,帶有清新水果氣息,搖晃後出現清涼水果味,香氣屬清新。入口後口感濃郁,蜂蜜、花香、蘋果、洋梨味充滿口中,略有酸度,不過略有甜口感,餘韻略長。這支酒雖有點年紀了,但也是個人最喜歡的酒。

喝到這裡,其實已經吃完蛋糕了,不過稍晚時又有新朋友F君到來,並且貢獻了一瓶好酒,筆記如下。

8.Château Gazin 2001(苦主F君提供)

很深的紫紅色,very young。開瓶時尚未decant即倒入杯中,靜置時有黑醋栗、藥草、木材和木桶味,酒精味重且香氣沉悶。入口後感覺有酸度,氣味由黑醋栗和木材味主導,不過不算濃郁,單寧重、抓口,而感覺不甚均衡,酒精味較重而有蓋過其它的氣味,單寧重且粗澀,口感較水,中度餘韻。說實話,一開始的酒根本沒到水準,不過decant之後,風味轉變許多,果味豐沛,黑醋栗香氣湧現,入口後口感變得厚實許多,雖有酸度但怡人,有一些甜美的感覺,中度餘韻。

失職的記錄官後來提早離席,回家休養,無法再行記錄,不過這樣美好的經驗,希望能再一次出現囉~還有,有錯誤的地方,請大家幫忙勘誤囉~最後……我自己先招,下次聚會我一定要把那瓶Guigal1998 Hermitage Blanc開掉啦~

1.Ceretto Barolo Bricco Rocche 1996

This wine exhibits a saturated ruby color with purple nuances. Additionally, it is rich, with lots of extract, tannin, and body. Ceretto's opaque ruby/purple-colored 1996 Barolo Bricco Rocche is sensational stuff. It combines explosive levels of fruit, glycerin, and extract with an uncanny sense of elegance and finesse. There are copious quantities of black cherry fruit, intermixed with raspberries, cedar, spicy oak, licorice, and tar. This terrific, complex, multidimensional Barolo should be at its finest between 2003-2018.

Decadent, forward wine, but delicious. Complex aromas of tobacco, berry, mushrooms and flowers. Full-bodied, with layers of ripe fruit and velvety tannins. Finish goes on and on with smoky, berry character. Best after 2001. (JS)

2.Château La Lagune 1999

This wine is a medium/dark ruby-colored offering with a nose of toasty oak, dried herbs, sweet cherries, and spice. This elegant, medium-bodied wine finishes quickly. Drink it over the next 7-8 years.

Very pretty blackberry, tobacco and cedar aromas. Medium-bodied, with fine tannins and a medium, fruity aftertaste. Best after 2004. 16,665 cases made. (JS)

3.Billecart-Salmon Brut Rose NV

Lovely balance and range of flavors, including bread dough, red berries and citrus allied to a moderately firm texture. The finish lingers. Drink now. (BS)

4.Joh. Jos. Prum, Riesling Auslese Gold Cap Mosel-Saar-Ruwer Wehlener Sonnenuhr 1995

Beautiful and balanced. Loads of pie crust and spice aromas. Medium-bodied and medium sweet, with a lot of flavor on the finish. JJ does it again. Drink now. (JS)

5.Château Gazin 2001

WA:94

A sleeper of the vintage, and possibly the finest Gazin I have ever tasted, the 2001 reveals the best integration of oak at this property in many years. An opaque plum/purple color is accompanied by a glorious bouquet of burning embers, roasted meats, espresso, and sweet plum and blackberry fruit. Richer and deeper than it appeared from barrel, with a tremendous finish, this full-bodied, impressive effort represents a breakthrough for Gazin. There are 6,000 cases of this 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 5% Cabernet Franc blend. One of the more backward wines of the vintage. Anticipated maturity: 2009-2020+.

This wine starts off herbal, with aromas of green tobacco, green olives and blackberries. With some air, the green character turns to coffee and blackberry. It delivers a full body with velvety tannins. Some might find it slightly overextracted but it's impressive. Best after 2006. 5,330 cases made. (JS)
